ABOUT THIS SHOW

Show

fabric8 is pleased to present Little Fang, a solo show featuring new works by artist and graphic designer Alice Koswara.

In her first-ever solo exhibition, Koswara chronicles a family tree of The Little Fang and their owners. A strange and mysterious creature whose origin is shrouded in mystery, The Little Fang choose their owners very carefully. These owners must feed them a steady diet of peacock feathers, non-fragrant flowers, and cotton balls. Small, rare, and precious, The Little Fang have been known to inhabit Earth for several centuries.

Alice Koswara lives and works San Francisco with her husband, fellow artist Eric "Phoneticontrol" Broers, and their two cats. She graduated from the Academy of Art University with a BFA in Graphic Design. She draws inspiration from her collections of vintage ephemera, old movies, period fashion and vintage posters. She paints her delicate, fashionable ladies in acrylic on wood.

Little Fang was on exhibit from March 18 through May 2, 2011 at fabric8, 3318 22nd Street, San Francisco.
