Sizing
To determine your ring size, we ask that you acquire the following tools:
- scissors
- ruler/measuring device in millimeters
- 3cm X 10cm piece of paper
- pen
- tape
1
Enter a space that is at room temperature (if it is too hot or too cold, your fingers will expand or
contract). Now, choose which finger you would like to wear the ring on.
2
Fold the 3cm X 10cm piece of paper twice, so that it becomes 1cm X 10 cm. Run the paper
against an edge to make it less stiff (and easy to wrap around your finger).
3
Wrap the piece of paper around the base of your finger of choice. With a pen, mark the point
at which the paper wraps around to the beginning, and covers the entire circumference of
your finger.
4
Unwrap the piece of paper. Using scissors, cut off the excess paper. Make a ring with
the piece of paper that you saved. Tape together the two ends.
5
Try it on the same finger to ensure that it fits, and comes on and off.
6
Cut the ring where the ends meet. Measure its length in millimeters against a
measuring stick.
7
Select your ring size from the box on the left. It will automatically calculate your ring size into jigos (jigo sizing is
not necessarily the same as standard ring measurement). Press "Submit Size" to store your measurements in memory.
Before we make your sterling silver band, we will send you a copper ring (according to your measurements) to ensure
an accurate fit.
