The Great Quake shakes the City by the Bay. Tons of clothes are lost in the subsequent fires; luckily, Sui Generis is there to make sure that San Franciscans are well-supplied with life's third basic need.

1951 - The Beats

Jack Kerouac and his like populate the North Beach District with their beatnik ways. They refuse to wear khakis; they wear Sui Generis instead.
